Touchy gas pedal
2009 TL FWD, out of nowhere today the gas pedal has become very touchy. Just pressing it very lightly so it travels maybe a half inch or less, the car accelerates as if the pedal is 1/3 of the way down. Any ideas what this could be? Car has 215k miles. This has never happened before.

Have you recently disconnected the battery and did an "idle learn" as part of drive cycle? Do you have a copy of Service Manual for viewing/troubleshooting?
I do most services myself, but in certain cases you have to consult a pro.Working with a Pro/Dealership can be expensive an alternative look "Automotive Services" in your area or on Forums etc.
