As the title says it took 3 months to find one but alas, she is here... 2012 TL 6MT. Went to the dealer to sign the dotted line today. I will be picking her up tomorrow. Just having them take the splash guards off the new one (I will put them back on in the spring) + I have to put my 2010 TL's stock air intake back in.

Here's a couple of pics I took with my phone.

Last winter the ones on my 2010 were constantly stuffed with ice and dirt which stretched them out so they no longer conform to the car. There is about an 1/8" gap now, so I figured I'll wait till spring to put them on.

BTW Potmilkz, Thanks!

With an assist from my buddy Bud Light, I think I'll be good for some ZZZzzz.

Here are a couple other pics I took with my phone.

First things to do? Debadge. Tint the windows. Intake and throttle body spacer.

Congrats buddy... Just on a side note, I really really really hate it when these dealers put there darn dealership name on the body. Ruins the car's originality and get to advertize for free.... Luckily, the dealer I bought mine from, just put the license plate frame. Took it off and tossed in recycle the very next day.

Congrats, of course i LOVE that car, i wonder why? Lol.

Still can't believe it took them 3 months to get one. I had my dealer locate mine within a day, and i live in Canada!!! We usually get shorted on everything! lol

About the Splash Guards, i actually just had mine installed on the rears last week. I didn't know about the Ice & Snow build up stretching them out. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

MyT6MT...Congrats on your car!! As a white TL owner, you had to know I was going to say that I am ebvious of the 6MT but for me, I had no choice to get the auto, BUT, at least I take comfort in knowing its the 6 speed.

Look at that car and your pics, it will be interesting to see how the 5G will be received! It appears that alot of the 4G nay sayers (and I was one initially), alot have changed their mind and coming around....we can't say its a BLAND car thats for sure. I am SOOO anxious to see what the new car will look like....curious, nervous and excited at the same time

Bottom line....AWSOME CAR YOU HAVE.....You will have LOTS of fun driving it

Thanks Guys! I will share my opinions on the 2010 vs 2012 6MT soon but I will say, I really love the white now. Can't wait to get the windows tinted on Monday.

I do notice a deference between my 2010 TL with the tb spacer and intake vs the 2012 without it. The biggest difference being the cars acceleration in 3rd gear.

My 2010 TL's 3rd gear accelerated noticeably quicker through the RPM range with the tb spacer and intake. I do notice a difference in 2nd as well but not as profound as 3rd.

@Potmilkz: I know what you meant.

Here is a pic of her at home:

Here is the same pic with 2010 quad exhaust tips. (Photoshop) I wish they kept them.

Thanks for the photoshop version - while admiring the pix of your new ride I was thinking "if only they'd kept the quad exhausts." I like the MMC (and I like my '10 too), but I think Acura dropped the ball by omitting the quad tips on the SH-AWD. I wonder how difficult/expensive a retrofit would be?

I'll be interested in hearing your take on the '12 compared to your '10.

WOW! The quad exhaust tips surely look great on the 2012 TL!!! It would have been so nice to have these quad exhaust tips still to differentiate it from the FWD model.

BTW, the more I see the 2012 TL in BWP the more I wished I had got that colour!!!
