Tint question

okay so i have 2 options and need help deciding between the 2

1. SunTech Carbon tint that is non metal, non fading and comes with lifetime warranty for $165
2. American Standard Window Film that is metallic and comes with lifetime warranty as well for $140

any ideas on which film is better?

Suntech. I have had it and it is great tint. I was told that the metallic tint can interfere with bluetooth/radio/navigation...not sure how but that is what I was told.

I just had my TL tinted with Suntek. 15% ceramic tint all around, and mine costs $180 (lowest price I could). Looks great, doesn't interfere with nav, and lifetime warranty. I vote for Suntek. Go for it!

Both seem really cheap. Have you looked at llumar?

Yeah I agree with what Kahta said. Seems really cheap for tint all around. I went to those shops that advertise those specials on CL or with bunch of signs outside there shop before. Usually they rely on the cars they can bring in, and always giving the customer bs estimate wait time, so it's a rush job. Just make sure they know that you'll bring the car back if not done properly/correct (bubbles, tint not going to the edge of the windows, stain on interior, etc..)

In my opinion, I would try and find a better shop (usually car dealers would recommend them) and have it done. Btw, I could vouch for Llumar CTX tint.

Carlos (HeartTLS) gave me great advice on tinting-- he said to make sure that it's like a one way mirror. The nice stuff will be much lighter looking out than from the outside looking in.
