Timing belts, which brand?

Besides actual OEM Honda/Acura Timing belt...Which brand is the best/favored if you cannot get OEM...Dayco, Gates, Koyo, Toho, Bando or Name a brand you had good luck with? I.E Which brand would you pick?

In my guesstimation, the majority of folks around here suggest, if you're not buying the OEM kit, buy the Aisin kit (which comes with a Mitsuboshi belt):

Why wouldn't you be able to use the OEM belt?

I went with the Aisin kit linked and used the belt included and everything went fine.

That said, the OEM belt is like $50. I almost considered tossing the belt that came with the Aisin kit and grabbing an OEM belt just for peace of mind.

I have never heard any claim the belt which comes with the Aisin kit is anything less than the OEM belt. Have you?

Honda/Acura part number 14400-RCA-A01 is manufactured by Gates Unitta.

Gates Unitta part number T329 is the same part without the Honda markings.

Nope, literally just the fact that the OEM one lasted 105k miles with no issues so why not use the same one when you replace it.

That said, I bet on the one in the Aisin kit.

Gates, Dayco, Bando are brands I trust without hesitation for belts.
They are all available on RockAuto.com for less than $25.

Our 4G accessory belt is manufactured by Bando.

As mentioned by Horseshoez, I usually install the Aisin kit
