This thing still surprises me

Went out to play a bit of badminton today, and as I came back to my car (CBP), I was once again pleasantly surprised by how nice looking a car it is...even with the 4G beak that so many don't like. Doesn't hurt that I washed her up last night. It's nice when you have something you don't get tired of looking at. And I should know; I'm married.

More surprising, as I was playing with the audio system, I realized that it does have a shuffle feature for music on the HDD. For over a year now I've considered the lack of a shuffle function to be a glaring omission by Acura. Seems I should be paying better attention to what this car can do.

I'm with you both! I just got my car out of mothballs and forgot what a pleasure and fun it is to drive! And look at.

The car "stock" overall is not that appealing I will say. With a a slight drop, and lip kit, it really enhances the overall look.

I agree, I know I'm in the minority but I like the aggressiveness of the beak. I always look back at my cars when I park them.

Funny thread...I laugh to myself thinking everytime I look at my car. When I'm with my wife she asks "What are you looking at?". I say "My car" and she responds "Omg whatever..."

My car is lowered on stock wheels, can't wait to look back and see the stance with new wheels...

I'm definitely in the same boat...work computer & cell phone lock screen wallpapers are my car and I am always looking back at it while walking away. Hell that's half the fun of parking at the back of the lot, just gives me more time to check her out on my way

IDK. Saw a 2010 FWD with the ugliest paint in the color palette. Nothing could make me want that car.
I think it was Silver Moon. Wow, it was really bad, especially in the shade with the stock 17" wheels.

CBP is the best choice IMHO.

You just reminded me...I saw a funny personalized plate on Saturday. A BMW 3 series with the plate "FWD LOL". I wanted to roll up and ask if two wheel drive got him up to speed okay.

Funny how the number 3 makes a driver think he's in a racecar; Mazda, I'm looking in your direction as well.

I like to park my baby away from the other cars in parking lots so I can look back and admire it as well as seeing it from afar... After 2 years, I still think it's the best looking car around!

ps.. parking away from others has other bennies too... doh

No, but I don't typically walk around with my shuttlecock in my hand. Too many odd looks.

I peek out my window first thing in the morning everyday just to admire and make sure my car's still there lol

2 weeks into getting this car and I can't believe I cross shopped it with the 2012 Maxima.

Totally agree.
Glad it doesn't look like a Hyundai. lol.
Or even worse, a Kia.
TL is one of the few remaining identifiable cars on the road.

Walked out of Trader Joe's the other day looking for my company vehicle, something I drive that 90% of the time. Parked far away from all the other cars something caught my eye, beautiful car I thought. You got it, forgot I drove the TL, it was actually mine.
Proudly drove home with an ear to ear grin.

I love this car

I can't get enough of it. Friday nights I cruise around Toronto streets just enjoying the car. Contential DWS pure contacts are amazing tires on this car.

I've had mine for almost six years and still greatly enjoy driving it. I also had a "first" with it on Friday. Hit an entrance ramp a little too enthusiastically. The SH-AWD responded in like fashion and stepped the back end out a bit. Completely controllable and actually kind of cool, but it surprised me. Tires and ground were cold so that probably contributed to it. I think the lady behind me in the SUV freaked out.

Coming from a white 3G to a white 4G, I have to say that I am disappointed in the quality of the finish on the 4G. The orange peel affect on the 4G is very obvious. My old 3G was like looking at a glass of milk - very smooth, deep, and no orange peel.

Personally, I think they skimped on the paint quality on the 4G.

^^ Mine probably is not quite as high in quality as the paint on my 2G Legend, but it looks damn nice. I get compliments on it all the time. That is, of course, until the black paint starts showing the dust, etc., which takes about 26 hours after washing.
