Taupe Leather - Dye Source?
The side bolsters on the driver's seat on the tech package leather is rubbing off and showing a black layer underneath . It's the TAUPE color leather. Anyone ever try restoring this color leather in their TL with a spray or dye?
If so, please share the source? Did the color match perfectly?

I have used the dye colorant from Leatherworldtech on touching up my A6 car seat with great success.
What happened was that some tiny droplets of instant glue got spilled onto the car seat. When I tried to remove them, the top color skin also got lifted, exposing the underneath greyish leather. I following their instructions to repair the top color layer, and now the blemishes are almost invisible.
The dye colorant is ordered by specifying the auto maker and the color code. The one I got for my A6 came out to be an exact match of the color for my leather seats.

Of course, that is what all seats are. They just call them seat covers. they replaced it with a new OEM cover. I had to wait for the "rep" to come out and approve it. I had 7k on the dial when they replaced it. I have a thread on here with the info.
