Just spice the resisters into the ground and turn signal wires. Use a wire tester to figure out which is which

have any of you 4Ger's tried replacing the resistor in the relay so as not to add load resistors in the engine bay? Way cleaner/safer.

Ok so I did this and get parking lights work but the the blinkers don’t. Any time I put on the blinkers it blows out the fuse. I connected the resistor and followed every step but I’m still having the problem. The Switchbacks are purchased are these below.
JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 120-EX Chipsets White/Yellow 3157 3155 3457 4157 Switchback LED Bulbs with Projector For Turn Signal Lights( Only work for standard socket , not for ck socket) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CRJR68U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_lru2AbGWV6JCF

You sure you did the right wires and got a good connection? Those little clips can suck. I got these ones below and they've worked great for about a year now.

This would be ideal, but from my understanding the 4G lighting is wired differently through the MICUs and there don't seem to be any accessible flashers/relays to mod. I tried reading the circuit diagram in the 4G service manual to find something similar to what's in the 3G DIY you've posted, but didn't have any luck. Hopefully I missed something and there's actually a way to do this.

I don't think you need the CK ones. Standard 3157 sockets should be fine. I was also deciding between the bulbs you've purchased and these: iBrightstar Newest Super Bright 3157 4157 3155 3457 Switchback LED Bulbs with Projector Replacement for Daytime Running Lights / DRL and Turn Signal Lights,White/Amber

I didn't trust the t-taps that came with the resistors so I did a manual splice instead. Have you tried stripping the wires and connecting them together by hand?

I have not tried that but I will try it tomorrow, I read on another thread that you do need the CK socket ones so I went ahead and ordered them so which ever ones don’t work I will just return.

Good to know! I should check what kind of bulbs I ended up getting then because I don't think they're CK.
