Sub Forum Topic?

I'll play the new-guy card for a moment...

I used to have a Miata and their forum had a section that discussed cleaning products, waxes,...

I've searched through here and haven't seen anything on this topic. I know a lot of you are very passionate about keeping your TLs in showroom condition.

I'm just curious to know what wax you prefer?

If this has been addressed or I missed an obvious section of the forum, feel free to give me a hard time for being a newbie and send me a link please.

Thanks

Click here for the 'wash and wax' sub forum...

I don't remember off the top of my head which polish / wax I use, but that section holds a lot more useful info than I do anyway.

Hi TL14!
we do have a wax and wash section here:
https://acurazine.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23

every one prefers different products.
read a little in the wash and wax section to come up with your own ideas/products!

As far as waxes are concerned... I will just say that something is better than nothing. So if you did not wax your car yet, do it asap!

Just found what I use on Amazon (I love the fact that site keeps all of your purchase history).

Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish
Meguiar's M26 Mirror Glaze Hi-Tech Yellow Wax

These are far from the best products on the market but they suit my needs well and keep my car looking new. They are also easy to apply and remove.

Will do. May clay bar it first to get a nice clean surface.

Thanks

^ I am sure you already know but make sure you use fine grade clay. Our TL paint is rather scratch sensitive and anything more aggressive has the potential to marring the paint.

Should check out dnd's thread on detailing a new car. Not that it matters but I believe his TL is the same color as yours and dnd's choice of products are comparatively expensive but they are of great quality with excellent reviews.

Good advice...I appreciate it. I think it's worth spending a little if the results are positive.

Thanks
