Stolen TL!!!
I was driving down a highway near my house, when this White Type-S comes flying up on my ass. I could tell he wanted to race or something of that sort. I didn't bite and let him continue what he was doing without giving him any reactions. Low and behold an unmarked cop saw all of what was going on and pulled us both over. The cop wasn't really to interested in me from what he observed but he was really interested in the typeS. Turns out the typeS was stolen only 30 minutes ago from a Honda dealer. The kid was on his way to Newark with it from what I was told, I guess he might have made it if he wasn't driving like an idiot.

Keeping TL until 2029
Just awesome. I was taken over by a BMW 3 series in the rain and I gunned it but kept it at the speed limit. Low and behold a stealth police car pulls him over the next stop. I was a bit worried that he was going to get me but he got the BMW driver. The TL SH-AWD has lots of power so there really isn't anything to prove.

He pulled both cars over and I assume he thought I had something to do with the stolen car. I did spend about 30 minutes there with the police and answered a few questions.

I only trolled three people on here and they were the three I was after. This thread is not a troll thread by any means. The reason I trolled the 3 members on here is after spending a week doing some research I noticed these three members progress in their attitudes. Those 3 were new members looking for info and were full if questions and respect. As time went on they acquired an attitude from some where and started acting superior to other members. I guess they forgot where they came from.

I've heard of a single trooper pulling over 6 vehicles racing to a meet and only a few getting away. The bravest two, if you can call them that sped like demons, one took the next exit, the other drove into a ditch and hid under a bridge. Only one member of the group was smart enough to slow down, merge into traffic, and rolled his windows down.
The officer got in front of the 6 vehicle he pulled over, by driving on all 3 lanes in a snake pattern and then ordered them to pull over.

Basically like heartls said, except there were two cars. Why would I tried to run? The cop most likely had my plate number and I had nothing to hide.

I've been pulled over for speeding along side 2 other cars by the same cop. They will do whatever they can if they see doing something wrong or think your doing something wrong

My advice is never speed on any road designated by a number, IE; I-5, I-95, I-70 etc.

I don't know of its a felony or not, but I wasn't going to find out. Also there are cameras everywhere these days and the dash mount camera on the police cars turn on as soon as the lights/siren is turned on. No way in hell was I chancing a run from the cops.

In the State of New Jersey, when someone fails to bring a vehicle to a full stop on any highway, street or waterway within state boundaries after being requested by law enforcement to do so, he or she can be found guilty of a third degree charge of eluding an officer.
The jail time for a third degree eluding is up to five years. If the flight creates a risk of death or serious bodily injury to any person, then the offense is a second degree crime. If convicted of a second degree eluding offense, the court must sentence the driver to prison time up to ten years.
In addition to incarceration, drivers convicted of fleeing will have their driver’s licenses suspended for a minimum of six months and up to two years. If the driver already had a suspended license, the state will just add this suspension period to the end of the current one. The suspension is automatic and understood as part of the charge.

P.S. If you let a police car sneak up behind you, you probably shouldn't be speeding anyways as you are unaware of your surroundings and a danger to everyone...

Think outside the box... all it could take is to separate by a few lanes and a little distance before the officer gets close. He can only be in one spot at a time and may WANT to pull over 2 cars but if he had to do even a little bit of navigating to get to the 2nd car, it's likely that he would give up on the 2nd car.

As to your P.S., I am assuming you have never gotten any ticket whatsoever? Sorry but I guess I am not such a good driver as so far, I have had 3 speeding tickets in my 20+ yrs driving career.

Please note, the police radio is faster and sneakier than any car/driver or combination of. If the cop wants to get you... he will get you. I don't know about you, but I am not willing to risk jail time at the chance that the officer may feel generous one day.

Call me lucky, but no. I have not gotten a speeding ticket in the 10+ years I have been on the road. I do not roll with a radar detector either. I am just actively aware of where cops like to hide, and use the hints around me to avoid speeding in front of a cop like observing the brake lights of the vehicles in front of you. Do they hit the brakes a little coming around a blind corner? Yes? Probably a cop..

Avoiding a speeding ticket doesn't make you a good driver. On the NJ turnpike and Garden State Pkwy, everyone does 80mph. So everyone is speeding at this point, all the cops do is pick out a car and pull it over. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Now it's a completely different story if your the guy weaving in and out of traffic, you make yourself a target just like the guy messing around with me did.
