Hey guys, its been a long time coming. I've craved TL's for like the past 4-5 years and i'm finally about to own one. I've went back and forth between an 08 Type S, and an 09 SH-AWD. Wish the 09's looked as sexy as the type s.

Either way, its RBP with ebony interior and about 38k miles on it. CPO with the extended warranty. Going to pick it up tomorrow. Car is definitely fun to drive, and the "beak" has drastically grown on me. I hated this car when i first saw it, but now i love it, because its unique and doesn't look like any other Altima, G35/37, Camry etc, in the parking lot. Pics will come tomorrow.

I'm from Long Island, NY, so I'll definitely attend car meets. It feels great to be back in an Acura :-)

Congrats on your new purchase. I too just purchased a CPO 09 sh-awd tech with 38k I pick mines up from acura of Manhattan on Friday. I see you said your from long island where did you get your car from? I was just down in valley Stream looking at more tl's before I made my final decision with the other dealership. When you say extended warranty did you have to pay extra for that? because my dealer didn't offer me that if so. I too had to warm up to the beak but now I like it. I'm just trying to choose between getting the midnight chrome grill or painting it the color of the vehicle which is CBP.

Did you buy the black one? hah i saw that one too, just didnt feel like going out to the city. I got mine from Rallye Acura in Roslyn. The car came with a basic warranty, something like 60k miles and 2 more years, i paid a little extra to extend it. Yes they did offer it to me, i'll find out the specifics when i go in tomorrow. I looked at Valley Stream's website but couldnt find any SH-AWD within my price range.

Thanks, somewhere in the neighborhood of 26k. it would've been a little cheaper without the extended warranty. i'll find out the specifics tomorrow.

 

Congrats...would say you did a great job on the price for a CPO w/extended warranty, too.

 

LOL Yes the black one from Manhattan. They did a nice price drop on it so ihad to jump on it. Same here valley Stream for some reason was just to overpriced and not willing to budge on price at all. My car comes with the original warranty and the cpo warranty if that makes a difference. I also paid out thedoor mid 26k. I should be picking mine up on Friday.

Thanks very much guys. Took this car on some twisty roads and so far so good! Gas mileage is ehh, but i've managed to get 30.2-31mpg on the highway cruising at ~70
