Because, I read through the thread, and what I took from it, and specifically your contributions, was that the OP referred to the "beak" as being somewhat "exclusive", and you took issue with the use of that word (why it became an issue in the first place...that's the point I've missed entirely. But then, I don't tilt at windmills).

What followed was a pi$$ing match between you and the OP over the appropriateness of the word "exclusive" (again, I don't get it, but whatever), and ultimately, you posted a video of a 3G TL with the plate "XSCLUSV". So honestly, I don't think your point was all that elusive. I think I got it.

What I don't get, again, is how this thread has stretched over two pages, at least given the current discussion. We're now miles away from talking about OP's tint (my apologies, OP). So this will be all I have to say that doesn't relate to the topic.

That doesn't work here. Any tint forward of the driver is illegal here, but I've spoken with a couple of cops who confirmed that if they can see in (mostly), they'll let it go.

But then, I'm like you...if they could see in, what's the point?
