So I bought an Acura, hello!

I bought my 2010 TL SHAWD/Tech back in March. It is Basque Red. My pickup truck gave up its new heater core after nine months which I had replaced and left me unable to defrost the windows during a snow storm. Pissed off, I set up a few appointments to look at an Acura TL. Why the TL? Back in 2012, Acura had an event in the building where I work. One of my coworkers left a chotskie on my desk from that event. It was Epicurean hot plate (kitchenware). However, it had embossed on it an Acura Advance logo and wrapped with a picture and description of the 2012 TL "Aggression in its most elegant form". A subliminal message at best! So I picked this up same day. Just wanted to say hello and mostly ask questions about maintaining such a nice automobile.

Where do I ask questions about jacking points? The side rails seem to only accommodate the tire jack in the trunk.

What a nice welcome, thanks to all. I had two tires go out on two separate occasions within one week. I assume the tires were the original Michelin Pilot HX MXM4. One tire was repairable but the other was not. I decided to remove all of the wheels from the car and take them to the local tire shop along with the new set. That's why I ask about jacking the car. Still not sure I positioned the stands correctly.

If the car is not on the brake disc's you are good. If brake discs are on ground you f'd up.

At the outset - CONGRATULATIONS...What tire did you replace the Michelin's with?
