I would this it's the Canadian equivalent to LoJack.

It's just one of those extremely rare situations that are one in a million that it'll happen to you. Just don't regret your decision.

bingo.. and i also think lojack is dumb.. if somebody steals my car i dont want it back. rather get the insurance reimbursement then take back a trashed car

I agree. Not necessary, unless it were a classic or had some sentimental value, etc.

On another note, regarding LoJack, I guess I would be skeptical about a "technology" company that uses images of early 2000s technology to promote their wares.
