I have a Yakima roof rack with two bike attachments and it works great. Fits really solid on the car.

But whatever you get I highly recommend installing this first...keeps the paint underneath the clips like brand new. Yakima's instructions tell you how far back to install the rack along the top so you can measure where to install these.

BSG: I'm looking for a roof rack for my bike too since I can't fold the rear seat like I did in my Civic. I assume you have the Q Towers with the correct clips? I already have the 48" cross bars from a previous setup on my old Odyssey. Thanks for the tip on the laminate shields.

What bike attachment do you use? I'm going to be mounting a conventional road bike (700C tires), so I was looking for the kind where the front tire is removed and the rack uses the fork drop outs.

Correct, Q116 front and Q132 rear clips. 48" crossbars will work just fine, so most likely you'll just need the new clips/pads. I have the frontloader attachments, so it keeps the front wheels on. I've used the sprocketrocket before to attach with the fork drop outs and that worked really well too. They have a lower priced option (I think the viper?) and that is supposed to work well too.

I pieced together a Thule rack on EBAY. With all parts and a bike rack, cost me a little under $525. If purchased directly from Thule, would've cost $779.

Do some work and save some money.
