I’m looking into tapping the 12V line for the left reverse light to power my backup camera. Before I open up the entire trunk and bumper, just wondering what’s the color of the reverse light wire, and possibly the best location to tap into it?

Should be green. (Positive reverse wire.)

When I did a backup camera install on an '08 TSX, I tapped the green wire right by the light housing (then ran the wire under the trim in the trunk, along the trunk lid strut, etc.) just because it was easy to access. The initial tap I did was wonky and I ended up soldering it instead.
