Removing door protectors

Hey there! I bought my TL second hand last year and am finally taking to modding it. However on the edge of the doors there is this molding that is on there which seems to protect it. But it ruins the lines of the car . Is it just stuck on there with adhesive? What can I do to remove it?

Thanks

Why don't you post a pic of what you're talking about?

Could they be the optional door edge guards/protectors?

You should be able to just pull it off. If there's any residue left behind use some automotive goo gone.

I have them on mine too. They are just an adhesive-type tape that can be peeled off and the residue removed with Goo-Gone as already stated or some other comparable product. I prefer to leave mine on though because as long as they are clean you can't even tell they are there. This is on a WDP car.
