Rear Roof Spoiler?

Who has a rear roof spoiler on their 4G TL? How does it look. I think it may be a little too Ricer for me, but I am curious. Looks good on some cars but not on others?
Saw this on E-Bay.

I am ambivalent about the looks of that, and I do not think it would add much as far as aerodynamic function.

I mean, c'mon...the car chips out at 135 and it's a bit of a handful at that speed.

If you want to do more than 135, it's going to take more than a roof spoiler. :-)

I'm not making fun of the possibility if you like the way that it looks, but I think that anybody who knows the TL SH-AWD will know that it doesn't do anything.

Here are a few pics. I think it's way too ricey and cheap looking. Hard to colormatch WDP as well.

In a word - don't. While you might not think a little lip spoiler would affect anything, it's going to seriously disturb the separation of flow at the roof.

Unless they've run CFD or an air tunnel on this little piece, stay away. The last thing you need is for the rear end to be 100 lbs lighter when you do an emergency lane change on the freeway. (The 100 lbs number is not validated by anything - it's a "what if" number.)

Thanks for the pictures. Ya I think I have to agree it looks ricey to me and man there's a lot happening back there with the rear spoiler , the shark wing and then the roof wing as well. Too much I think!

I've seen the wheels in the pics before but can't remember where. Does anyone know what wheels are those in the pic?

AC Schnitzer(sp?) specifically made for BMW's but has the same bolt pattern of 5X120

Yup - and pretty pricey - at least 1k a piece. But they are hot wheels.

even though I know the spoiler won't affect aero-dynamics, I think I would like it better if it was more straighter, following the glass lines (like bmw's)
