Quick Q about the HID headlight

i am thinking of replacing a pair of new HID lights at http://www.carid.com/2011-acura-tl-x...nt-344709.html , the original one is good enough, actually its superb bright!! but i am just wanting a blue-ish color, does anyone know what the actual color is for our OEM HID light that comes wit the car, and is it 10000K or 15000K?? thanks!!

For the cool factor, yes the higher K temp will make your car look good. But as for practicality, the bluer the light, the harder it will be to see on wet roads. I think one should not go above 5000 K temp on HIDs, because beyond that you will not be able to see the road clearly on a rainy day. But that's just me.

Brightness and color output are two different things.

Ya get 5000k for the headlights and then you can change your fogs to whatever you want. Mine are 10000k
