Question about shifter paddles

Cheers all, quick question here. Do the shifter paddles on the 4th gen TL move with the steering wheel or are they mounted static on the steering column?

Thanks,

just like staff seargent said, they are on the steering wheel just like an f1 car, that way when you keep your hands at 3 and 9 you know where the paddles are at all times...

that may be, but the paddles and the thumbrests for the steering wheel are located at 3 and 9...the standard position for a racing steering wheel...

If you understood humor.. the 10-2 postion was part of the reference to my old days in school, as I stated

FYI, Mr. Obvious, you are only half right.. 8 and 4 is also recommended for racing

look at a formula 1 steering wheel, there is no place but 3/9 to put your hands....

It's fixed on the wheel, too bad the steering isn't like an F1 car and we all don't just make small corrections when driving.

Have you tried driving on a tight twisty road using the paddles? You lose track of them pretty quickly.

If the steering was a bit tighter, there wouldn't be this problem lol

Oh, so now the TL is an F1 racer?? Damn, I need to get one QUICK! OMG, I didn't know that...

BTW. F1 isn't the ONLY form of racing out there, in case you didn't know.. I just thought I'd point out the the obvious.

Ever heard of NASCAR? It's a fairly popular form of racing. They drive cars that look similar to the ones we drive on the street. It's really cool, you should check it out.

Anyway.... I guess the real answer to the OP's question is that the paddles move with the steering wheel
