Preventive Maintenance - FI Cleaner

To start - i do put lube on my civic every change oil (4k-5k miles) - it has 122k+ miles now. same as my pilot with 147k+ miles.

Would appreciate if you guys could recommend the internal and the type of cleaner for 2012 or 4th gen TL. Mine is 2012 TL with 15,400+ miles.

Thanks!

premium gas at top tier gas stations have cleaners and detergents in them.

Our engines run clean.
I have 54k miles on my '06 TL, and I recently opened up the intake manifold, and took a peek at the heads.
EVERYTHING IS CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

so, if you run premium gas, you're good to go.

When you say "top tier gas stations", I'm assuming you're referring to stations from the big oil companies. Can you confirm or provide examples?

Wife's been putting that Costco Gas in for a while now. I'm back behind the wheel now, so it's out with the Miller light and in with the Miller Genuine Draft.

If you want absolute piece of mind, use BG44K every 7-10K and it don't get much better. I use top tier gas in all my vehicles with a can of 44K.

appreciate the input dwest. only 1 service center, from where i live, used to carry this brand, fastlube. But they already upgraded to much better/enhanced cleaner. though i haven't tried the newer one coz i put the cleaner myself and i'm using lucas. other forums (civic) suggested seafoam.
