rock the block
2006 Toyota Corolla S in Navy - bought used the day I got my license at 16. Quickly had coils, cold air intake, and some ugly ass ricer rims. Also had a lot of money into the stereo. Sure was proud of it back then! Paid for by pushing carts at a local grocery store. Sold it to pay for uni.
2005 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition - got me through university. Was nice not having to worry about keeping it clean or maintained too much. Could fit 7 total, and had a Thule box on top for skis. Was BRUTAL on gas...typically got 22L/100km (10mpg!)...thing had a 4.3L V8 and could never stay in alignment...crashed it last February in a snowstorm and it limped the rest of its life before it was junked in Dec.
I bought my 13 TL SH-AWD Elite in CBP soon after, and have enjoyed the modding experience so far!

Ugh...let me see if I can do this.
1970 VW Beetle convertible (16 years old) - froze in the winter and sold it.
1968 Mustang (16 years old) - totalled when a trailer came off a truck and hit me head on.

1980 Chevy Citation X-11 - surprisingly fast car that handled well. (20) - rattled apart.
1987 Nissan Sentra - New (21) - drove it into the ground and had to get a better car for an IBM sales job after college.
1990 Honda Accord LX - New (24) - first professional car - great car. lease
1994 Mitsubishi Galant GS - New - lease - gave it up when I took a sales job and got a company car.
1992 Buick Skylark AKA "the batmobile" - company car - free car - free gas.

That's a cool thread brings lots of good memories...and some not so good.
1986 Hyundai Pony - automatic. When I got my driving license got it from my parents as a hand down. Sorry I have to say it was a freaking tank I could not kill that car, abused the shit out of it. Some really good memories especially going to movies, 2 guys in front, 4 girls in back and 1 more guy in the trunk. Oh boy these were the days. 2 x 15" subs in the back shelf and a tape deck that could find the next song automatically. Traded it in with about 140,000Km on it with everything working but some rust.
1990 Hyundai Excel 2 door - my first manual. No aftermarket support, cut the spring to lower the car. Hey it was what it was poor students civic. Upgraded sound system, homemade air intake with K&N filer. No joke, back in the day when Hyundai wanted to gain market share they would fix everything under warranty. They had a engineer fly in from Korea to look at my excel to see why it is throwing some codes. They blamed by MacGyver air intake but replaced it under warranty and I did not spend a penny.
1996 Hyundai Accent GT 2 door - manual. I hate to say it but I really enjoyed this car. Some limited performance parts. I got most of them, then I did sound system upgrade, it was very fun car to drive.
2002 Oldsmobile Alero coupe - manual with the 2.2 Ecotec engine. It was pretty rare to get it in manual sales people did not even know I could get it in manual. My first venture in American made. Really like the 2 tone interior dashboard and how it wrapped around the driver. Also liked how it looked in the coupe. Literally after the 3 year warranty expired it starred to fall apart. In the 4 year ownership I paid well over $9K to keep it on the road. Engine was pretty decent, but suspension components, window regulators, brakes, ABS sensors (6 in total), clutch, and many more issues. Had to get rid of it.
2006 WV Jetta 2.0T 4 door - manual. Oh boy, I really enjoyed this car, quite fast after I chipped it. Bi-Xenon lights very cool. All leather and quite nice inside. Put in quite expensive sound system in it(focal), lowered, rims, tint, etc. Quite nice. Had some issues within the first 2 years that had to be fixed under warranty, some quite extensive. Then good until 2012 when I had to put in approx. $6K to get it fixed up. Things like cam follower, clean the valves due to deposits, suspension went, rust on fender, back was getting flooder from blocked sunroof drains. Decided to trade in.
2012 Acura TL SH-AWD 4 door - manual. And the story continues.

Keeping TL until 2029
1996 Cavalier and it had only 130, 000 km on it. It was a rust bucket the last year I had it. It was crap so parking it and getting dings was never an issue. I have a 2009 TL Tech, SH-AWD for the last 2 years and I love it. I am keeping this car until a least 2019.

How'd you like the SSR? Was thinking of getting one as a weekend car/ home depot duty for around the house. Bags of mulch or whatever... Seems like a cool toy with some functionality.

2010 TL AWD 6MT: New King
Good fun thread:
1991 Acura Integra LS 5sp manual
1994 Honda Accord auto
2005 Acura TSX Auto
2009 Lexus IS 250AWD
2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6MT
201? Porsche 911?
To be honest, I still miss my Integra hatchback. Fun and practical, I stuck a nice Greddy exhaust on that sucker
I was able to haul a huge 27" Toshiba CRT TV in the trunk with that thing. I sold it at 179k miles to a guy in his teens.
I also miss my TSX. Ultra reliable, I was getting 30+ mpg, and it was my first car I bought new. Sold it on a whim

The Original Shawdy
Haha thanks. Always been into modding and showing. That was my all time favorite whip I've owned so far and will probably get another one sometime. Miss my old school caddy. Only had 68k on it and everything was original even with all the power options minus the upgrades. My civic didn't even have as many power options lol. There was something for everyone. Older people loved it since it was a classic. Younger guys loved it cuz it sounded like a beast and had the 22's on it. The girls loved it because it had more Louis Vuitton them they've seen in their own closet haha. It was a good time whenever I took it out. I figured pictures would say it all.
