Possible new 4g owner need help!

Hey guys. I work at a dealership and we have two TL choices for me to choose from. I'm coming from an 04 Accord v6 6MT coupe. Clutch is about to go so I need to make a choice fast !

Here's my dilemma. Both vehicles are 2010.
Silver on black TL base with 41k miles. I love the colors and honestly don't need any more features on the car. iMid is more than enough for me with the Bluetooth hands free link. And sound system is great. I drove this car for about an hour yesterday running a couple errands for my customers.

Then there's the Black on tan SHAWD Tech. And I know how much u guys love the tech so obviously the tech pack and the SHAWD caught my eye.
Thing is I hate the interior color (literally) And I'm worried the color will not grow on me. Also the vehicle has 55k miles on the odo. The black is great I don't mind having a black exterior. But I do hate the interior.

Anyone else have a similar experience ? I know when shopping for a pre owned vehicle limits u on what u want and can have but I'm really leaning more towards the base tl. Only thing I think that will satisfy me on the tech pack is the rear view camera. I live in Philly so having a back up camera can come in handy. But then again I have a parking garage so it's not that bad of an issue. That's why I really don't need it, just an extra luxury cause I do park in the city from time to time

When you have to pay for and live with the car you buy you really should like it. Sounds like you would be happiest with the Silver/Black choice.

I could live with almost any color on the exterior. But tan/light color interiors are a deal breaker for me. You have to drive it so think about having to pay for something you're not happy with for a few years.

Too bad you don't have more time to look for a shawd with an interior other then tan.
If you have to do the deal now..........silver on black are a nice color combo.

From your post you seem to already be leaning towards the base. At the same time, beings you work at a dealer perhaps they can locate you a used tech for a decent price which would give you the rear-view camera? While you may not feel a need for the other features, I know they would grow on you over time. I also agree with you on the tan interior - I had 3 TL's with parchment and won't go that way again. I gets too dirty too quick. My current 2010/Tech is WDP/Ebony.

Funny how people like what they like. I'm exactly opposite from you. I could handle just about any interior color as long as it weren't black. Can't stand a black interiors for some reason. I've dismissed many potential car purchases simply because of black interior. I love the lighter interiors. But definitely buy what you like because it's your money and you should be happy with what you purchase.

Thanks for your input guys. Unfortunately I work for a Honda dealership and this particular chain does not own any Acura dealerships, and locating a car is damn near impossible. I will most likely be going for the silver/black because it is an old age inventory I will be getting a better deal for that car vs. the newer black shawd.

I agree that you need to go with what you like on this one. Waiting to see if it grows on you is a sure fire way to not be happy with what you have. I just did this with a TSX I bought just a year and a half ago.. I thought the 4 banger and good gas mileage would grow on me....it didn't . Just got a TL. Now I went from the black interior to the tan interior and I like them both. The black seems more sporty to me and the tan seems more luxurious. They are both nice but go with your gut.
