I came up with two philips D2S bulbs when I searched for replacement of OEM bulbs. Which one of these should I go for?

I used to have Philips Ultinon 6000K too. I like the color a lot. But if you like. Try Philips 5000K I used to have it too. Output is good since there is a slight hue of yellow and purple. But 5000K are slightly expensive than 6000K

They are very nice looking(Ultinons). 6000k is the highest I would go, Check out ebay for a better deal...http://www.ebay.com/itm/130530352295...84.m1423.l2649

Is it difficult to change the HID's in the 4g TL?

I had the Ultinon 6000K, and within 6 months or so, they began to color shift. Not sure if I got knock off bulbs or not... pretty disappointed

Its literally right in the back of the headlight where your HID is already. Its just hard to reach back there but you gotta twist left and pull it out

I assume Acura don't like us touching or replacing the bulbs because the lifespan on these bulbs exceeded the longevity of our typical halogen. So it is easier to replace halogen bulb and harder to replace HID bulbs. I think that is because there is a high risk of danger of someone with no knowledge of replacing HID bulb can cause injury and rather take it in the dealership to have a technican replacing it.

KAIXEN D2C bulbs are another option. We offer a 5000k which is closest to OEM.

6000k is extreme white with a tint of blue.
