PCV Valves for 3.7L vs 3.5L
Okay guys, so apparently, the PCV Valves have different part #s on the 3.7L engine vs 3.5L engine.
For the 3.5L, the part # is 17130-RCA-A02 (Link: https://amzn.to/4fT6LxK)
For the 3.7L, the Part # is: 17130-RYE-A01 (Link: https://amzn.to/4iW8HIx)
I purchased both parts for my 2013 TL, 3.5L Engine.
Both parts look identical, however the 17130-RYE-A01 is blue while 17130-RCA-A02 is black. That is the only difference i noted.
On the Acura parts website, they tell you which part is for 3.7L vs 3.5L. (Parts are not interchangeable, supposedly)
Parts being identical (Carbon copy) on the outside minus the color, are they different inside?
I installed the 17130-RYE-A01 (3.7L PCV Valve) on my 3.5L and few miles later i got an emissions code (P0240). Which i know is for the downstream rear oxygen sensor. but there was no code with the old PCV valve. So im thinking something happened with the 3.7L PCV that i installed.
Anybody experience this? Can any experts chime in and let me know what exactly happened?
Thanks!

Could be a crazy co incidence, maybe the 02 sensor is really starting to go bad. I know if its below 95% efficiency, it will throw the P0240 code on.
