Hey Acurazine,
I have had pretty good luck finding a lot of useful information on here and also about the 4G Tl torque converter issues so I figured that I would ask for an opinion as to what I should do.
My car has 139k miles and has been showing signs of a bad torque converter, although I have done a 3x3 flush and filter replacement at 75k and 110k.
I'd like to just get an idea if anyone has had an Out of warranty replacement for the TC or trans? I'm wondering what a good price for the job would be? If it must be performed at a dealer and If I would be better off just buying a replacement transmission (potentially with warranty).
I'm From CT if anyone has had a positive experience with any shops in the area that may be able to guide me, let me know!

I'd try option 5 - contact Acura customer relations and plead your case. See if they'll offer a goodwill warranty. Have you owned any previous Acura's or Honda's? Or did you purchase the TL new? That may help your case if they see you've been a loyal customer.

did they update the software to prevent future failures when they did the 3x3 flush? Acura never updated mine but said they'd call when the update was available when they did my 3x3 flush. You should ask a mechanic to look at the data from the car and they can determine if it is failing. The fluid breaks down very quickly with the torque converters, esp when the are unlocked and generating a lot of heat.
Here's the procedures:
