Opinions Needed: HID Fog Lights
Not to beat this subject to death, I am looking for opinions on HID Fogs: I have 3 questions:
1) 3000K or 6,000K MY TL IS Mayan Bronze, always liked the look and preferred more of a fog light, not driving light.
2) Any Issues with leaving the light switch in auto mode and switching the high beams on?
3) Any issues with blinding oncoming drivers with the stock housing.
I appreciate the feedback!

2) leaving in auto mode would have your HIDs going on and off with the headlights. if your driving down a shady path, and your sensor perceives it as being to dark, it'll turn on the lights aswell as the fogs. your HID bulbs will have greatly diminished life in em that way. because they are constantly charging up and down depending on the shady path. and the bulb would fuse out. PERSONALLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LEAVING IT IN AUTO MODE.
3) i have 6000k HID fogs installed, and the only time ive blinded ppl is when im going uphill. i havent gotten highbeamed from oncoming traffic yet, and its been around 2 months of having them installed.
if anyone can find something wrong with what i said above, please enlighten

Not true. 5500-6k is brighter and produces PURE WHITE LIGHT over 3k. 3000 goes through fog well and is yellow but it is not brighter.
1) 3000k lighting gives you the best coverage of light and it works the best in illuminating the road. 6000k, looks blue and good with the stock Headlights, does a decent job of illuminating the road, but not as well as 3000k.

Technically 4300k is the brightest in terms of light, but white light resembles more like natural daylight, so we are more comfortable seeing at night with white (5000k). Visibility diminishes as you go to a higher kelvin (I.e., 6000k).

Theretrofitsource sells high quality HIDs. I have them in my Mercedes c300 and they're extremely bright. Maybe even brighter than stock HIDs in the MDX, but don't quote me there because the MDX headlight is probably a foot higher off the floor
