Opinion on 2010 TL
Hey all, I am new to this forum and what're to get some opinions! I found this car yesterday for sale:

It looks to be a good deal, car fax checks out, only issue is that the car has been at the dealer since May. I called the dealer and they confirmed this and said to me over the phone the pictures are all accurate and that it has indeed been there that long. I negotiated a lower price and put a refundable deposit on the car and will look at it this weekend when I have the chance.
My question is what are your thoughts on the deal? Has anyone here bought a car that's been on the lot this long. It has low miles and still has time on factory warranty, price is right so just want some other opinions. If they take the listing down I will post the pictures and added details for view when I get to my home later today.

Always good to have an independent mechanic take a look at the car. If you don't have one you're comfortable with, try something like AiM Mobile Inspections or the like.

Burning Brakes
In February of 2012, I purchased a "new" 2010 TSX V6 that had been on the dealer's lot since new. Why no one ever purchased it, I'll never know. I totally fell in love with that car after buying it. It sat on the lot almost 2 years and I ended up being the original owner in 2012. They knocked almost $11k off the MSRP. In my opinion, it was a stellar deal. The car ended up being great. Kept it a year and a half and sold it and purchased a '12 TL Advance.

Funny stuff.
It actually is a good question though.
I would say that one potential issue with a car that sits around (outside?) for a long time is rust on everything underneath including brake rotors and pads.
