Keith, I also agree that it is probably way to soon for any great deals but was just wondering what we may find... I have a shout out to my dealer to see what he may have available along with pricing...

compewterbleu, I maybe in the same boat as you... If they could get down to the $40,000 range with some possible low interest rates then maybe a go but will probably wait for the 5th Gen to come out in a couple of years..

You guys make me laugh about thinking a very early '12 release would have incentives of any kind. Get real people.

My dealer has confirmed financing offers:

1.9% financing for 24-36mo
2.9% financing for 48-60mo

Also have confirmed the $1500 "loyalty cash" if you currently own a TL

My dealer is very low on 2011's (4) so it would be foolish of them not to try and sell the 2012 (11 on the lot) with some incentives....

LOL! Thanks for posting that and responding to the hater above you. I agree with oyu, Acura will want to get/keep sales up and this model isn't a BRAND new car but an MMC.

I got 7K off my car here in Canada so not quite.

I was referring to these types of huge discounts on the 12s, not the slightly lower financing or leasing numbers which amounts to little when compared to the cash incentives....

I am overseeing the electrical design of a living quarters that is going to be built in Korea and installed ona platform and sent to Sakhalin Island Russia.

I will end up in Korea in a few months to oversee the construction of the electrical portion. I do a lot of 3D modeling as well.

I realized that too but made it clear what I meant on my second post. The fact is you will not see the huge discount incentives on the 12s anytime soon that we all have been enjoying on the 10 and 11s. Why would Acura rush their 12's onto the market and continue those kinds of discounts that eventually hurts their bottomline? Maybe this time next year Acura will have huge discounts especially if the car still doesn't sell well.

I realize that incentives may not be were they are now but in the end was it to much to ask what everyone pays/deals/interest rates for a 2012 SH-AWD Advance TL? If I new it was going to turn into this I would have never started the damn thread... Sorry for asking...

FWIW there's nothing wrong with your thread. I apologize myself for misunderstanding what you were asking...

I just get annoyed (and a bit envious) that you guys in the States can get your cars for cheap and still expect and get the deals. I guess it's normal down there for you to already expect some minor incentives on these cars but I highly doubt anything significant will happen so soon, let alone up here.

BTW, I don't consider a modest 2.9% 60 month rate anything special...I'd rather take the huge discounts but that works for me. I realize not everybody is a cash buyer.

Sorry again for my rant and derailing this thread somewhat.

I wonder how many 2012s they have built or can build b4 they have possible part supply issues - parts that have to be shipped from Japan?
have you seen the headline today? "Dealers raise some car prices after Japan crisis"

Dealers raise some car prices after Japan crisis
Associated Press
Posted on March 17, 2011 at 3:05 PM

DETROIT (AP) — The disaster in Japan could slow shipments of popular cars like Toyota's Prius to auto lots. And many dealers are already taking advantage of expected shortages to raise prices.
Buyers will now typically have to pay sticker prices, instead of enjoying discounts that had been the norm for small cars and hybrids imported from Japan. Besides the Prius, models that suddenly cost more include Honda's Insight, Fit and CR-V; Toyota's Yaris; and several Acuras and Infinitis.

If not mistaken the TL is made in Ohio with about 75% US parts.......its the other 25% that poses a problem

For comparison similar deal on a 2011 is $329 and $2499 down or $400 and nothing down.

This thread is about the '12. We ALL know the previous model will be a better deal... Do we really need info about the '11 here in this thread?

I am sure you are trying to be helpful, I mean, why should anyone buy the '12, no matter what, right? They are soo ugly and so [insert any number of negatives here]. The OP even asked that peeps stick to info about the pricing of the '12 but...

For someone who deals on TL's pretty often I thought opening this thread would help those that maybe interested in the 2012. This would give people an idea on what dealers were doing with the pricing. So all I ask if you are like me who is in the process of preliminary talking to my five regular dealerships on pricing just keep us posted as I will you.

Thanks

Wimps! Seriously though, that's why they always tell you never buy the first year of a redesigned model.

One Azine member is looking to buy one from John Eagle...

Sterling McCall quit responding to my emails, John Eagle answers all my questions. I tried several times to contact McCall, even their finance guy cuz they are a preferred vendor with my credit union.. they dind't respond... hadn't heard from them in 3 weeks, so they don't get my money.

You don't want a Bellanova White SH-AWD, do ya?

Went to dealer yesterday and they had 1 2012 at the entrance to the dealership and a TL Tech and AWD Advance right on the showroom floor. The WD was a rare Mayan Bronze with Umber interior, sweet looking car. Unfortunatley I am screwed right now since Infiniti relaseed the 12 M early making my 2011 M37 (although 9 months old) a full model year old now so the numbers I am being quoted for trade in are ridiculously low. Also does nto help that there has been virtually no activity in the used M37 market (car too new) so none of the apprasial sites or apprasers can figure out what number to put on it yet so they are all low balling me. So it looke like it will be a later this year before I can get a 12 TL.

What I can say is in person the Grey car looks awesome all clear up and prepped, I thought it was too dark until I saw it in person. The new grille and chrome accents really look great on the grey.

My dealer is saying the $1500 "loyalty cash" if you currently own a TL does not apply to the 2012s.
