NEW TL SH AWD owner

Happy owner of a new GM 2010 Acura SH-AWD. Just wondering what sites people are buying accessories at. Im wondering about getting some mud flaps paint matched to my car and if thats a good idea?
Also ive noticed some pretty sharp looking headlights and taillights but after looking for a couple hours i see people are doing several different mods to the lights. Im not sure what the reasoning is, is it bc it looks sharp or to see better. Bc the lights are pretty good already. So just wondering.
Finally has anyone had issues with the new nav system taking them down 1 way streets or in completely wrong directions ??

Welcome to Azine and congrats on the car.

What geared you towards getting a 4G and what other Nissan's did you own?

Well i had a titan, an xterra, and a 350z.I was very close to buying an Audi A5. I went with Acura b/c of the extra space and the actual Acura dealer was more pleasant to work with than Audi. I just wanted something AWD that could handle the snow in WV, but i wanted something luxurious and sport tuned. I ended the search with the Audi and Acura, and here i am.

One thing i can tell after spending about 4 hours on here, is most of the mods, info, and what not is aimed at models earlier than the 09 TL. Im not having much luck finding what im looking for having a 2010 tl sh-awd.

Ya, I've owned a couple of Nissans myself. Have owned 2 Maximas. The 2010 Maxima just did not do it for me. Also wanted AWD.
Give it time. Car is still too new. They will come up with plenty of mods for this 4G in short order I'm sure.

oem splash guards only come painted now, you can go on ebay and search for 2010 tl splash guards and pick some up for about 115 plus shipping, or go right to your dealer and get them for 150 and put them on yourself...takes less then an hour...

A lot of us rather not change the main look of the TL. I looked at some aftermarket stuff, and for me so far, it is just a upgrade to the rear license plate lights. Not sure how many people do this, but start your car, roll down the passenger window for safety, then get out of the car and put on your left turn signal indicator. Walk to the front of the car about 15 feet away, then go do the same for the rear of the car and see how INTENSE the light power is for turning. Try it in the day as well as night! Also, turn on your headlights and go stand about 15 feet behind the car to check out the taillights. What you see may surprise you.. The window part is so you don't accidental lock the doors. If you want o be safe and feel safe, just have the better half sit in the drivers seat and do the light control!

As for the NAV, other then some of my favorite restaurants are missing from the data base, no issues with one way streets here in Downtown San Diego who has a ton of them. You may want to have Acura check this out. Your GPS positioning may be off a bit?

I wish my 2010 TL Tech's nav system had an option to avoid unpaved roads, or at least somehow identify them so I would have a choice. My old Garmin iQue 3600 GPS unit had this option.
