New owner of TL SH-AWD

What's up guys? I am a proud new owner of a CPO 2009 TL SH-AWD Tech Black on black aka the black mamba. Hahaha. Couldn't find any sweet deals in NYC, so i drove out to Virginia for this baby. Traded in my loaded 04 TL which would be greatly missed, but the upgrade is simply amazing! The car came with pretty much everything with the exception of an additional smart key (2). Any idea where I can purchase one without paying an insanely amount of money? I had the dealer toss in the weather mats for that. Car came equip with 19 rims, body kit, side moldings and backup sensors. I'm planning to purchase the midnight grille soon and call it a day. Car is amazing as it is. I'll post some pics when I get back to NYC today.

Congrats

I'm not understanding about the key. Are you saying it only came with one? Are you talking about the FOB?

What is the midnight grill?

The midnight chrome front grill. I've seen other members with this mod. I was referring to the key fob indeed. My car only came with one.

Congrats, nice ride. So, what did you finally pay for it. I am trying to find one, but the dealers are asking atrocious prices for AWD or Tech packages.

Which dealer did you buy it from?

I drove all the way from NYC to Karen Radley Acura out in Virginia for this baby. My uncle said he bought his Legend from them back in the early 90's when he lived in MD. I got them down from 34k to 30K, plus I was able to get 10k on my trade-in. Car had 38k on it. I initially went to Paragon Acura out in Queens to work out a deal on a 2010 white AWD Tech with the 19" rims. They advertised it as 33k online - I get there & they want 38k. They offered me 5k on my trade-in...the nerve of these people!!

Thats exactly what I went through! A couple of months ago I was trying to work out a deal on a '10 palladium metallic AWD Tech with 19" rims and they advertised it for 34k, i get there and they originally asked for 41k, and negotiated to 38-39k. Something told me to back out, and I did. It kinda turned me off and stopped looking around and stuck with my gfs car. Seeing your TL has put me back in the market. I'm gonna try and check out the same dealer you got it from, hopefully i can finally make my purchase. Thanks for the info!! oo and most importantly, congrats on the sexy ride!

Thanks for the info, I had the exact same experience with Paragon Acura, I checked for a low miles 2010 with an advertised price of $27k talked over phone and email with them about the final price, once I was there is showroom they started adding all sorts of fee and made the car $32k. It's a perfect switch and bait dealership. And the sales guy was doing so much over acting, every time I asked him if I can check this car, he would get the key and will start jumping.

I have the exact same car - minus those really nice wheels! Congrats!! I have only ever seen one other "Black Mamba," and that was down in Georgetown.

If it's a CPO, the dealership owes you two FOB's. I had the same issue with mine. All they had on hand was driver 2. Check out the CPO checklist and it's specifies that they must provide you with two keys. They should have also provided you with brand new floor mats. They have to do that during the certification process if the vehicle isn't the current year model. Mine didn't so they ordered a complete new set. Only the original driver mat was a little worn so I replaced it and I've got spares for the rest.

Thanks. The dealer mailed me a brand new key fob. I just need to get it programmed at my local dealer. The vehicle came with brand new carpet mats, I was referring to the all weather mats. Thanks again
