New Owner in Irvine, CA (2010 6MT)

Greetings,

I'm a new owner of a 2010 TL 6mt. I just purchased it on Friday with 14000 miles from Escondido Acura. Options include HPT and aero kit. It's black/black and absolutley stunning.

I've owned a variety of sports and luxury cars over the years, and I can say from driving the TL for just the past few days, that the TL is the perfect combination of luxury and performance. I'm truly enjoying every offframp and on ramp I approach. I haven't had time to take her up to my favorite canyons yet, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

I'll probably keep her stock for the time being but would be interested in a CAI, perhaps the J pipe, and either H&R springs or the Tein coilovers. Any recommendations for shops in Orange County are recommended as I haven't been in a japanese car scene in a long time.

Sean

Welcome to AZ! Black, White and Silver are the best colors on the 4G IMHO (and I own a BRP). Post some pics when the system lets you.

Thanks! I will post pics as soon as I upload to my photobucket account. I assume the site allows that?

Lovin' it! Traded my 2006 RL A-SPEC for it and haven't looked back (not lately anyway!). Waiting for Spring to arrive so that I apply my next round of mods.

Welcome Sean and congrats. If you're trying to keep it stock, you've got a nice "short list" of mods. Best of luck keeping your wallet in your back pocket!

If you're talking about installation shops, I have a mechanic friend in La Puente, CA that can install for fairly cheap. I guarantee it's much cheaper than anywhere else you can find, and they work on Mercedes and Benz all the time, so rest assured, the quality of work is there as well.

If you're interested, send me a PM and I can provide details...

Looks similar, but I have the HPT wheels in chrome. Might have to change them soon!

If it was Thursday that was me. I had a motion to oppose at the San Diego Courthouse that morning and was driving back to Irvine at around 10 am. I spotted two other TLs during my drive up.

It's the lighting. You can't see the wheel gap in the first picture. It's definitely lower now and looks proper. I'll take some better pics this weekend. I also think the springs will settle a bit.

Congrats man! I love it! Of course I'm a bit biased seeing how I also own a 2010 CBP w/ aero and HPT

I actually am just over 14k miles too.

Good looking stance, Sean. Be careful-once you start modding, it's difficult to stop.

And hey, I know what you said, I said the same thing....look at my signature!

By the way, I was thinking about getting new wheels and was wondering how much I could sell my HPT wheels for. The tires are still new. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the info.
