New owner!
Hey guys! I am picking up a CPO 10 TL SH 6 speed w/ Tech pkg on Saturday. It is Black w/ black interior. I am pretty pumped. I need to get out of this 06 Fusion I have been driving around for the last two years, oh the sacrifices we make to buy a house, lol.
Anyway, I have had a few performace cars over the years so it will be nice to move into a more cushy ride with some power to boot. I think I got a great deal on her. A couple of emails got me $3600 off the asking price. They tried playing the "oh this care is game game," I amswered back with "the buyer of this rare car may be even more rare." Boom, hook, line and sinker.
Previous cars in case anyone actually cares:
2004 WRX STi - WRB
2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra - Black
2004 Fordt SVT LIghtning - Electric Blue
2006 Evo IX - Grey
2006 Volvo S60R - Electric Blue w/ Atacama interior (rare)
2004 SVT Lightning - Black
2005 WRX Wagon w/ a full STi swap - Black (I may miss this one the most)
I also have a 68 Bonnevile Convertible and a 70 Land Rover Series 90 for the summer toys.

Congratulation and welcome.
I own exactly the same car (2010 TL SH-AWD 6 MT Black on Black, bought new)
The best midsize sport sedan for the money, all I have to say.
Lucky that you did find a 3 pedal one in good shape...they are rare indeed.
You will love it.

Thank you everyone for the welcome. I am pretty sure I picked the right car.
If I could afford one, I would think about it. For the money though, I would probably go in a different direction.

Congrats and welcome!
Nice choice w/ the 6MT. They are rare and very hard to find used.

Thanks! Yeah I had some fun with those cars. No denying that.
Thanks, it is pretty hard to come by and car with a manula these days it seems. My Fusion is a manual, and people are always very surprised to find that out. lol. Not a very sporty car though.

Well I have been driving her since Saturday and I absolutely love it. Who are these people complaining about a "harsh" ride? That seems to be a huge overreaction.

It's a good bang for the buck, but I sure wish baby-doll would have let me get the S2K I wanted. But, hmm, funny how the S2K will not fit a child seat...

Great choice on the color/tranny!

It's not bad at all. Just not what I would call "cushy". Maybe you were referring to the interior. The interior is cushy (in a good way) compared to many.

Harsh ride certainly does not describe this car....."stiff ride", "firm ride" yes. But that is also why I love the car. Have you checked your tire pressure? First 2 days I drove mine it had 41/42 psi from the dealer
. Now running 34/35 and definetely helped.
I totally agree, I've had mine for 1 month as of yesterday. I like it more every time I drive it. The 6MT is simply too much fun
.

Don't worry boys, I wasn't referring to what anyone had said in this thread about the ride. I had read on this forum about the "harsh" ride quality when researching this car.
