Hi everyone. I put a deposit on a white on taupe 11 sh w. tech. I really REALLY want a '11 black and umber instead but the white is awesome too. Smithtown Acura has one but no tech. Any leads would be great.

So Openroad in East Brunswick has the car, but stating mid 5's for lease(compared to 438 for the white one where my deposit is), and 39,265 purchase price.

How do they get mid 5's with only the addition of a destination charge to the vehicles price? I think they are no where near invoice when calculating the lease

have you tried all dealerships? there is Rallye (love those guys!), Valley Stream, Island Acura, Paragaon (heard bad things) DCH Montclair... Acura of Manhattan...

Ya, I checked all those sites. My deposit is with Rallye, sucks they arent open on Sundays though. I would never buy a car from Paragon, most dealerships within city limits are crooks in my opinion, rather drive to NJ or L.I.

i think i saw one at westchester acura on friday. ask for frankie in sales, tell him jason told you to call him. he will probably be real straight forward at that point

no problem man ... they will always quote ridiculous number until u walk in and show them ur serious ... i understand ny is a far drive from va, but im pretty sure they will move on number only if u come in .. with gas prices where they are i wouldnt blame u if u passed up on this

I put a deposit on one, later to find out the dealer wants another 1500 cause he didn't know the car was decked out with a body kit and etc, its already got 1300 miles for being a demo. After that I said no way, refund me my deposit.

Anyone work in Acura sales dept in the tri-state? Pm me thanks!

Dude its a little too late for you to be picky. Theres barely any 2011s left and most dealers are going to want to hold some profit on it because they know it will still be cheaper than getting a 2012 due to the $2500 dealer cash and the $1500 TL loyalty. I just helped my coworker get her Tl SHAWD and we got a demo from bayshore acura. I picked mine up a month ago and lucked out because i got 1 of only 2 MBM 6speeds left in the country. There may be a few 11s left but you cant be picky on color.....its simply too late for that.
Call up DCH Heart acura and ask for Eric the manager and tell him Dennison from Hillside Honda told you to call. He still has one but im not sure which color. Also Rallye has a white one left but they were firm on $500 over invoice.
All in all you have to search everyones website and call up and speak to a manager (not some BDC rep) and work out an acceptable deal for u and be ready to leave a deposit over the phone and pickup ASAP. PM me if u need anything.

You can try using carwoo.com, which will email the local dealers within a user-defined radius. Be specific about what you are looking for. I used it this past week and found the 2011 base TL that I was looking for.

And ask Openroad, and other dealers, for the selling price, residual, and money factor. And make sure all of your quotes are consistent (e.g., they include or exclude sales tax), so that you can compare apples to apples.

(FYI, I just signed a lease at Island Acura and the money factor was .00101, which was much lower than I had expected.)

If you have an iphone or android phone, consider installing a car lease app so that you can calculate numbers when you visit dealerships.

My dealership in Annapolis, MD told me that had "tons" of '11 TL's on the lot. Criswell Acura, on West Road. They deliver too!

It was pretty hard to let go of my red 91 3000gt vr4 but it was for the best. I couldn't take potholes in that car anymore and vice versa neither did it want to be driven on the potholes, lol. Now it's in being driven on NJ roads which should be a little better.
