New to Acura, interested in learning
Picking up a 2014 tl sh awd here in a couple weeks and I know next to nothing about cars but I want to upgrade it for performance and take it to hpde events. Where should I start learning? I know awd isn't ideal but it's gonna be my every day as well and I live in the mountains of Colorado

Is it manual?
I would just take it to your first HPDE with just brake pads, fluid, and tires.
I think EBC makes a Yellow pad for it. Otherwise, check if Carbotech or Hawk make anything.
ATE TYP200 has worked fine for HPDE cars since forever.
Any decent summer tire that can handle heat will work fine.
Assuming you're new at HPDE, just focus on driving.
Something will overheat since its a huge car with AWD. Keep a watchful eye to see what overheats. There is your first path toward modding.
If you ever make it as far down the path as wanting aftermarket suspension, Fortune Auto makes a system.
