New 4G owner saying Hi
Hello 4G owners, I just bought a 2010 TL SH-AWD. I used to post on AZ way back but forgot my username/password/email. My last car was an 04 TL which I had for over 5 years. Any other 4G owners who are former 3G owners? I must say I was sad to give up my 04, that car was my loyal companion through some tough times and it never failed me even once, never needed any repairs, just regular maintenance, still had no rust despite being driven daily in the winter, when I traded it in it was still going strong. That's why I got another TL. I did want the 6MT, but couldn't find one in Ontario (all the manuals I could find were either very high mileage or the sellers wanted way too much for them) so I had to get the automatic, though I do notice it shifts a lot smoother than my 3G did. Are the 5AT trannys on the 4G more reliable than the 3G trannys? By the way I ended up giving them my 04 plus 22k (after tax) for this 2010, do you think I got a good deal? This was after a lot of hard negotiating.
Anyways my car has 75k kms (that's 46k miles for you yankee doodles), is there any maintenance that needs to be done now? The sales guy told me the oil was just changed. I'll probably change the air filter soon because that's quick and easy. Should I change the transmission oil? Anything else? Cabin air filter maybe?
Also, the Acura dealer wanted $200 for winter mats, plus another $100 for the trunk mat. I don't want to pay that much, does anyone know where i can get a good deal on some winter mats? I don't want to just buy cheap mats from walmart or something that won't fit well and will look ghetto, I want mats that are custom designed for the TL, designed for winter with the border around the edge to contain the melting snow.

Congrats, and the '10 AWD is way superior than the '04 FWD.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Check out this mileage I'm getting, I averaged 7.5 over my 300+ kms trip I took today. That's pretty good for such a big engine, maybe even better than I was getting with my old TL which had half a liter smaller engine.
