Need Help & Opinions

Hi. I have a 2010 TL Tech that I bought new in October of 09. I really wanted the AWD Tech but couldn't afford it @ the time. I've been looking to get a 2010 AWD over the past year. My question is do I keep my Fwd or trade it in for an AWD?

Get the SHAWD, suspension will be firmer though

All AWD cars have a firmer suspension and steering as well. Just the nature of the beast. Either you like it or you don't. Test drive both to make sure if it's for you. I like it,my wife (NOT).

You can notice the difference. The suspension is almost as firm as my old 8th gen civic coupe. Its harsh on rough roads and you can feel most bumps on the road.

We have both. 2010 Tech FWD and 2012 Tech Adv SHAWD. Bought the 10 for my wife and she drove it for a year. After riding with her a few time during winter and rain, I felt better with her driving the SHAWD. She drives like she a Grand Prix road race driver. Dry weather the 10 does great, but she liked to push the car all the time, that is where the SHAWD shines. I drive the 10 and my 04 Tahoe in the winter.

It is because the whole car is heavier. That's why AWD cars, Audi, Mercedes, etc. steer harder and are not as comfortable as FWD cars.
As someone mentioned some people just want the security of AWD and I was specifically looking for an AWD vehicle.

I was sold on the AWD the moment I took a turn on the test drive at a speed that normally would be a tad insane in any other car. I was TOLD to try this on the test drive by another thread I read here somewhere. My arm was twisted.
