i just bought a 2012 acura tl tech pkg.
43k and bought the acura care warranty it will cover the car till 100k.
payed 1799 for it, is this a good deal and will i even needed? If so is it any good?
Nice pick up. I've never gotten those extra warranty because I try to work on my cars myself. Also if you plan on modding your car, depending on what you do, that will probably void that warranty. Another reason I prefer not to get those warranties.
Well this is just speculation since I haven't done any maintenance to my 2012 TL SH-AWD w/ tech (owned for 4 months now) but I would imagine (excluding any unforeseen major issues) that the amount of regular maintenance you would do from now til 100,000 would be less than 1799. Also is there a time limit on this warranty? Generally speaking extended warranties are not worth it. Companies offer them knowing they are likely to profit from them.
