Smile MPG in new TL...

MPG seems great so far!

I took a trip to ATL and back this week, and since picking up the car I am averaging almost 25 MPG, with about an 80/20 split of highway/city.

Attached a couple of pics of pure highway mileage, over 28 MPG!. Seems the trip computer A automatically resets when you refuel (pretty cool)...

As I am still in the break in period, I stayed between 65-75 MPH, and did not use cruise control, so not sure how this is representative of actual use.

Decent mileage. Did you double check it by actually dividing the number of miles driven by the gallons of gas used to fill up? It would be interesting to see how close the computer estimate is.

I'v had my 4G TL for about a month right now, and I'm averaging about 20-21 MPG in strictly city driving.

I only have 253 miles on my car. My car says 25.9 average. I've driven a combination of highway and rural.

That sounds pretty good. Is that using the car's data?

Yes.....and I've been resetting the MPG setting every morning just to make sure. (Sure beats the 12-13 MPG I've been getting in my '07 Escalade )

Those are very respectable MPG numbers ... on par to type-s when you are not gunning it at every stop light ....
