More Weight in the Steering

I know the 4G TL is a electric power steering. Wonder if there is a way to increase the stiffness/weight of the steering with software.

I am coming from a BMW and miss the stiffness of the steering. I also have a s2000 with electric power steering that is stiffer so Honda can engineer more weight to the wheel. Wondering if there was something through software that can be done.

Im interested in this as well. The TL steering is much too over assisted for my liking at highway speed.

You are stuck with what you bought. Trade it or take the car on a longer test drive next time.

I came from an S2000 and agree, the TL is over assisted.

I test drove many other vehicles and the TL must tighter steering than many other comparably sized vehicles. Directional summer tires make a difference, otherwise, not much you can do. I find the TL is much better than the TSX, any of the Lexus models, and a few American cars I tried.

Yeah unfortunately I think this is a general trend in all cars. My sis had a 05 C230 and I did test drive the newer C350 and significantly. less weight. Even the new 911 has electric power steering and the mags says much less weight too.

I will get directional tires next time around. I did scaraficed a little less driving dynamic for more reliability, thats why i have the 4G.
