mirror replacement

I was slightly hungover this morning backing out of garage and broke my mirror. Whats the best way to go about fixing? replace the whole unit? Best place to find replacement?? Thanks!

Wife did a bad thing to her passenger side mirror last year. Online acura dealer. Replace the whole mirror. Not a bad job either. About $365 plus shipping. OEM piece

LoL. My wife did the exact same thing about 3 months ago. Passenger side.

It's considerably less expensive if you're willing to disassemble the mirror assembly. It looks like you only need the housing set. You can reuse the sidemarker, mirror and internal components:

76201-TK4-A02ZD / Housing Set, R *NH731P* (Crystal Black Pearl) - $56.18

Item #4 for Crystal Black Pearl. It took me about an hour to fully disassemble and reassemble. There are a few YouTube and websites with instructions on how to do it. It would save you >$200 over the entire assembly. Item #3, 76200-TK4-A01ZD is the entire assembly - $269.40.

Ouch. As Losiglow said, you should be able to just get the housing. I did the same thing to my Dodge and the housing was much cheaper than the whole unit.

It is an easy process. Maybe 30-45 minutes with basic tools. Check out the video and subscribe.

Gotcha. Okie dokie. My swivel part was broken so I just found a used one on eBay to replace instead.

How did it go? I have a similar issue with my wife's 2014 TL passenger side mirror housing and wanted to know how easy/difficult this was to replace?
