Manual transmission clutch clicking

I just recently found and bought a manual transmission that drives and shifts like a dream but I noticed I get one click anytime I push on the clutch or come off of it. It has 72K miles and it’s never been replaced is this normal or will it soon need a new clutch?

I had mine since 25k kilometers and it always clicked. My car has 130k kliks now and the clutch is still as smooth as day 1. I think it's the microswitch that's linked to the clutch pedal that does the clicking. None the less, I don't think you should worry. There is a TSB thought about a popping sound when clutching. If the symptoms don't apply, then don't worry.

Hope this helps!
