Question Lugnut pattern

I had a 98' lexus gs300 with 19" axis speed 6 wheels. The lugnut pattern was 5x114. When i was thinking of getting the 3rd generation Type S i was psyched because it was the same bolt pattern. Long story short.. I spent the extra money and bought an 09' acura tl sh-awd lugnut pattern 5x120 I was bummed out about the rim situation but whatever.. I am def an acura fan now and i will most likely buy the next body style TL. I want to buy 19's but i don't want to spend 2grand on rims and tires and then the next gen TL ends up being a different lugnut pattern. Why did acura change the lugnut pattern? How would i know if it gets changed again?

first of all, you dont have to change to 19's if you dont want to..

secondly, axis speed 6 are some really ugly rims and you do not have to spend 2 grand for rims.. i spent 1000 and got used iforged rims with tires..

lastly, i think it will most likely stick to 5x120.. since most of acura lines are switching too

You mean bolt pattern. Not lug nut pattern. They changed both of them for 09+ TL's. 5x120 and 14mmx1.50rh
