Looking for drum convert kit to rotors for 2012 TL
#2
Just speculating but I would start with buying the rear off a crashed tl and then move everything over. You would probably have to do some research on if it requires and other braking components for the ABS

What TL was ever built with rear drum brakes? They've all been rotors.

Given your TL has rotors at all four wheels, I suppose if you really wanted to spend a bucket of money you could convert the rear of the car to drums from say, a 4-Cylinder Gen6 Accord, but why would you want to?

I think the individual is under the assumption that he/she has rear drum brakes on the vehicle, when in fact the drum brakes are only used on the rear as
an emergency brake and the disc brakes on the rear are for regular stopping.

You'd have to be quite the newb to think this car has drums. First, it's obvious by a simple glace at the rear wheels. Second, how many new(er) cars have drum brakes? I think I've seen them on the Nissan Versa, Smart cars and Mitsubi Mirage.
