I had installed a backup camera and that ended up the camera being mounted on the license plate and had to take off the license plate frame, am surprised to see a gap between the top part of the license plate part and the bumper , please see attached photo ( you will see my finger in the gap)

Is this normal on all cars?

thanks for your quick response as I was getting worried , don't you think this is strange as water and other stuff may get inside, is this a design issue
