So, I found out that a partner company of mine repairs the Panasonic ELS systems for Acura. Im trying to get the specs out of the lead tech there and see if I cant make that HDD bigger.
Welcome to the club

Any way possible if you can find out from that partner company if the ELS head unit does the sound processing before sending the signal to the amplifier or is it done at the amp? I will be upgrading my sound system this spring and this could be extremely useful info. There is some info you can find on the web but not many people have done upgrade on this system and it is difficult to figure out. So some inform from someone who knows the set up would be nice.

As long as you are happy with your choice. You really can't go wrong with either car.

The front is definitely polarizing but you will get used to it. I bought it despite the look but have grown to like it more than the aftermarkets and the refreshed look. The problem with the 09 grill is in photos and certain lighting the horizontal "break" in the plenum design is lost, therefore making the whole thing look flat and one-dimensional. But in person when you view it at various angles that break stands out and gives the plenum design more depth and a chiseled look.

But I completely understand compared to standard designs its a bit futuristic, and the current plenum design is playing it much safer. So not great but not offensive either.

My previous car before the TL was 06 Lexus IS350, so we're almost in the same boat. Maybe i'm weird, but i prefer the styling of the TL over the IS, while most people say the other things. The front beak grill is actually one of the selling point of the car to me
