Just bought my car again ..

So we just refinanced our house though our local credit union this past month, during that process they asked if I wanted to bring the loan for my TL in as well.

I passed at that time, but pulled the trigger today, refinanced at 1.49% down from the 2.9% through AFS I got when I bought the car.

Took all of about 10 minutes of my time, save about $500 in interest over the remaining 42 payments.

Just an FYI for those who may have gotten in on the 2.9 last year, might be worth a conversation with your local credit union.

congrats on the refi first of all...rates STILL are low as hell...

I would ask details like how long did the refi take and all that, but I think questions like that belong in the off topic/Rambling forums...

I had 46 payments remaining (bought the car in July '11), had them chop off 4 to make it a 3.5 year loan instead.

Just curious what the term of your loan is. That's an excellent rate.

42 Months, but I'm pretty sure I could have extended it out to 60 if I wanted.
