J37 Headswap into J35Z

Looking for some help in getting my J35Z2 built.
It's the iVTEC version, where my oil pressure switches and vtec solenoids are located in the two J35Z2 heads.

I acquired a J37A4 top-end.
Cylinders in great condition.

Looking to figure out what would happen to my compression (J35Z2: 10.0:1), and would the additional VTEC on the exhaust provide substantial benefits?

Any ideas are welcome.
Willing to change out crank/rods/pistons to fix any compression issues. Still need to find a shop in NYC to PnP, gasket match, and rebuild the heads. One of them has carbon deposits on the valves.

Some background:
2009 Accord V6 Automatic.
40k on a new J35z2 block.
Currently have Injen CAI, RV6 HFPC, JPipe, Magnaflow Catback,
MDX manifold spacer, and kTuner End User Kit e-tuned by turboGixxer.

Acquired two J37a4 heads, manifold, injectors, fuel rail, runners.
Looking to PnP the manifold, heads, and runners, gasket match everything. Rebuild the heads with the money left over.

Then buy a 3.7L GMD8B throttle body, J35Z3 oil filter housing containing vtec solenoid, and whatever else I might need.

Will I need the SH-AWD ECU/immobilizer reprogramming to run the J37 heads on my J35 block? Doubt it, I think my J35 ECU can run the quasi-vtec, as it will piggyback off the current VTEC.

Sorry, correction.
My current J35Z2 CR is: 10.5:1
The J35Z3 CR is: 10.0:1
The J37A4 CR is: 11.2:1

J35 crank/rod/pistons w J37 heads = CR ??
Guessing it wont be optimum, should I look into milling the heads or swapping block internals?

Appreciate any input! Lovin' the aZine community!
And I've done months of thread reading/searching between 8 honda forums. They've told me you guys are the best

leave the head as is and run more timing. Get ktuner and you don't have to swap the ecu or reprogram.

Sounds good, I think a PnP and port matching wouldn't hurt, now just to find a decent shop in NYC to do it
Thanks for the good info!

Wondering if there's any good transmissions that would swap instead of my B97A 5AT. Maybe 05-10 Ody 5AT or 07-13 MDX 5AT since they're stronger and both use the new bell housing for the wide-block J35Z

Hey sorry, hit a little roadblock, wondering if someone could please chime in. I hit Paul up for the build, and he's pnp'd the heads, and ready to do the work.
We are swapping the oil pump and spool assy, doing all the timing maintenance and I've acquired RL pistons as well to bump up the compression.
But we ran into trouble with the VTEC since the J35Z2 is iVTEC (VCM) and doesn't have VTEC (kTuner had to school me lol).
So Paul decided we should go with the MDX ECU, he's checked the harnesses and is pretty confident on what to re-pin between SubHarnesses and plug A.
Just gotta find the ECU and wiring harness for less then $700.

If anybody got some insight, I'd really appreciate it
