damn this photoshop looks perfect! Now, I am thinking about upgrading my 6 month old car...
Any bets it would look like that at all? But, I have a feeling the front grill will be not as appealing tho, regardless if it's MDX's or RL's -ish

Go Big Blue!
Car looks good but I'm still not liking how I can see the muffler and rear diff in that back shot. Kind of like seeing a girl in a great dress but her slip is showing. Really ruins the look.
For that reason, I want to assume there are some swapped out panels or missing parts on this test car we are seeing. I'm expecting the final production version to look a bit different then this

Def. looks taller and narrower....Tail lights in this chop remind me of a camry.
Still think/hope the car will look sharp overall.

I saw one too, right after I saw a pig flying.

Its not bad, but I'd prefer a smaller car and the current TL fits that profile. Heck if the TSX offered a V6 motor I would be driving that instead.
You guys need to remember that these larger cars will require more gas as they weigh a lot more. That's my biggest gripe about this Acura's transition to larger vehicles.

So, considering Ronbarr saw a dark blue unmasked TL in Santa Cruz, CA, I guess we have the following options to choose from...
1) Ronbarr saw the '09 spyshots, which happen to have a dark blue TL, and made up a story so he could get online kudos for being the first to see one (for whatever that's worth).
2) Ronbarr actually did see an unmasked version of the dark blue '09 TL.
My guess is #2 because (no offense Ron) but Ronbarr is listed as 50 years old and I'm not sure many 50-year-olds give a flying fart what this online community thinks.
In addition, given that a premiere is assumed sometime in the Fall, we're now in June and releasing the '09 TL without camo in the summer gives a few months of online buzz before the official preview. What a better spot to drive an un-camo'ed TL than in Cali (as opposed to Ohio). It makes sense from an advertising/marketing point of view.

I snatched up my TL before they get a chance to hit it with the ugly stick...

It is good if you take some picture of that car and you post it here. I have also seen photos of 2009 Acura TSX at autopartswarehouse.com . It’s a nice and great car too.

The rear looks like an old CL coupe. Ugly for now? Have to see it in person in WDP. The ONLY color I will consider. I pray it looks good and does under 6 seconds to 60. BUT no manual with AWD is RETARDED!!!

Anyway... went back to Acura today to get my summer tires on my S2000 and while waiting tried to confirm the MT+SH-AWD option - nope - they said the system only indicated AT for the first year. Still a "possibility" for the second year. Acura is taking the same approach with Audi's Quattro. Looks like the future is SH-AWD (RWD biased) with MT and some sort of DSG in the future. God knows when that will be though...
Internal pics expected sometime August to the dealers. I hope we can get some WAY before that!!

Maybe I'll make a phone call to see if the new TL is in the magazines' hands... If so, I might be able to sneak a pic or two

09 Tl
First off, look at the new issue of Car and Driver. I scanned this image from there. Second, a family memer works for Acura and saw the same car at a meeing recently in New Orleans...like it or not this picture will be 95% or more of what the production TL will look like. That's why I posted the pic.

I will laugh my a$$ off if that is the new TL and we had that this whole time. IMO its ugly as fuk!
but hey that looks pretty darn close to what the TSX looks like (I'm not a fan of the 2gen TSX if you can tell) so I would not be surprised what so ever if Acrua pulls this crap out as the TL. We all know that ugly plenum grille is def. going to be there. Lets just hope the rest of the car is bad ars but I'm not holding my breathe.
