How to replace sport trim on my TL?

I recently purchased a new sport trim for my 2011 TL. My question is- how do I replace the existing one? Im having a hard time removing the stock one. Any suggestions?

are you talking about the front grill or the rear trim piece?

Either way, you have to remove the bumper to have them taken off, once you remove the bumper its easy.

i can't say, as i don't own a 4g, but i'm thinking what ^ said is correct. from pictures that i've seen, the grill is held in by bolts behind. you'll have to take off the bumper. if you're talking about the rear trim, then i'd imagine the bolts would be behind the trunk liner, no? gl!

the front is actually easier to remove than the rear IMO...the front is only held on by allen head bolts and the rear is snap-on type but can easily be broken GL!

There are instructions online as well as throughout the 4G forum showing how to install the underbody spoiler kit. You don't actually replace the old front and rear bumper, you simply remove them and follow the instructions to attach the kit to the bumper.

Follow the instructions, you will get both front and rear done in 2 hrs. It took me 2 hrs to remove and install both front and rear, I didn't even need a second person to help. Just be careful do not damage the paint, also do not remove the front bumper too far before you unplug all connectors.
