How to remove roof molding without breaking clips under?

I'm trying to remove the two roof moldings ( the chrome strips down the side of the roof ) so that I can get my vinyl tucked in better.
I forgot to have them removed the first time I did the vinyl. Anyone have step by step or .pdf from acura for it would be greatly appreciated.

Starting from the front windshield area or near the rear windshield? Just pull it back and lift up?

Yes....its good if you start on the front windshields. Also have a piece of plastic card handy to pry it loose. For my car, it was 1 week from the dealer and it was still new and the clips were pretty tight. So I think for your its pretty easy. They have 2 different clips. Orange and Green if I recall. Try to flex it in and out and it should snap out. Remember to align the clips once you are done. I assume you are going to vinyl the trim right? If you are unsure of it you can always just vinyl over the trim without taking them out and once you are done, get a piece of plastic card and push in the excess of the vinyl.

No I'm not doing the trim. I'm just taking it off to have the vinyl tucked tighter underneath the trim because the edges are not tucked well. Just hope I don't break the clips lol
